Class description:
Embodied Movement is a unique movement-based class that blends yoga-like movement, somatics, free movement, breathwork, and mindfulness to support you in reconnecting with your body, emotions, and intuition. This class is not about perfect poses or strict routines—instead, it invites you to move in a way that feels right for you, moment by moment. Expect a rich, embodied experience guided by music, intuitive prompts, and meditative space where inner exploration is deeply welcomed.
What to expect:
This form of embodiment and somatics is based of Body-Mind Centring, using an access point within the body to guide the process.
Sessions begin with a gentle connection to the access point or body part, followed by an invitation to express this body part as the body itself. This can range from gentle guided asana, to fluid movement, soft stillness, or dynamic expression—depending on what arises in your body and being. We end with a seated meditation before a guided shavasana.
Each class is a held container to explore authenticity, vulnerability, and creativity through embodied presence. Demonstration and directed asana is limited with a preference that you move as feels supportive and nourishing to you.
