Every Body Yoga Teacher Training
Split into two parts, our year long training enables you first to deepen your learning and practice and then, should you wish to teach, take part two to progress into how to hold space for others, deliver classes confidently, and build community. Completion of both parts of the course will be accredited by Yoga Alliance.
Our course was created and is taught in collaboration. Trainees are encouraged to contribute and engage with the material with trainers and discussion will form an important part of the course.
Overview
Part 1: Immersion
For those who want to dive deeper into yoga, whether or not you want to teach, our Immersion will fulfil your needs. In part one, you will work on developing your practice through our asana labs, your understanding of yoga and its traditions, as well as some personal development work, including journaling practices. We want to empower you in finding your own voice and confidence, gaining insight into your personal practice. We offer a supportive environment to thrive in.
Those interested in taking Part 2 will also need to complete Part 1. You will only be a certified yoga teacher if you complete both parts, but you are more than welcome to take Part 1 as a standalone course.
Time commitment: Usually one weekend a month in person 12:15-18.30pm. Some Wednesday evenings (online via Zoom)

We know a lot of people choose a yoga training to develop their own practice, or simply to teach others, but embarking on this journey can also be a powerful experience of self discovery. You will be supported throughout by mentoring sessions and group work to make sure you get the most out of the course. Our Part 1 Immersion will help you develop your yoga practice and understanding of the history and roots of yoga.

Email your application letter to training@everybodystudio.co.uk.
We teach you how to hold space, working together to empower you, and increase self confidence throughout the course, according to the intentions and goals we set together at the start.
Part 2: Teaching
The second part of the course, in the latter part of the year, is underpinned by mentoring and development, as we teach you to actually deliver a class: holding space, sharing yoga and creating a practice that your students will want to return to again and again. We offer a tangible hands on, practical experience which will leave you feeling ready to share yoga with others, confident in your own style and abilities. Even if you do not intend to teach yoga, this part of the course will deepen your learning and build on the skills and confidence you gained in our Part 1: Immersion.

Course Trainers
Becky Varey (She/her)
Becky is a full-time yoga & performing-arts teacher based in Oxford. Originally training to be an actor, she turned to yoga as a way to manage the burn-out and stress from that highly-competitive world. She changed careers, completed her first teacher training with AllYoga Bali back in 2014 and has never looked back.
After years of punishing her body with diets and cleanses, she now uses her yoga practice to make peace and even celebrate her body. These days she moves her body as often as possible and is always dancing!
Becky teaches a wide range of people, from school students, to those going through cancer treatment. She loves being able to play a small part in someone's day. It's as simple as helping someone to feel just a little bit better. She passionately believes that yoga is for all bodies and strives to make her classes accessible, playful and light-hearted.
Venetia Adamson (She/her)
Venetia is a full-time yoga teacher, trainer, and Thai Yoga Massage–accredited practitioner, currently based between Hove and Oxford. She began practising yoga as a teenager (the old-fashioned way — from a book), and later, while living and working in the US, found an inspiring teacher and fell in love with the dynamism, inclusivity, and creativity of Vinyasa flow. Over time, the lessons learned on the mat began to shape her everyday life, eventually leading her to make yoga her work and way of living.
Venetia endeavours to share her love for all things Yoga and Massage through accessible, culturally sensitive, safe, and joyous classes. Her teaching is informed by learning, inquiry, and subtlety, and she believes a practice does not need to be forceful to be effective. After years of Ashtanga practice and athletics, discovering the quiet depth of Yin yoga proved pivotal and has guided her teaching, studies, and embodied approach ever since. Her classes often centre around balancing stillness and movement, combining intuitive flow with deeply restorative practices.
With over 10 years of experience teaching yoga and 5 years training new teachers and creating course material, Venetia is registered with Yoga Alliance (E-RYT® 500) and is a lead trainer on the 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training course. She is currently completing an MA in Traditions of Yoga and Meditation at SOAS, London, and remains committed to studying yoga’s lineages, meditation, and related modalities in order to teach with integrity, care, and responsibility.
Katie Gordon (She/her)
Katie Gordon is a coach, yoga teacher, founder of Every Body Studio and parent. She has previously worked in the publishing industry.
She has a special interest in mental health and trauma and works with corporates and individuals as a coach, mindfulness practitioner and movement teacher. Her approach is collaborative and empathetic, combining evidence-based tools from yoga, mindfulness and breathwork with psychology. She is interested in creating welcoming, warm classes and spaces where everyone feels welcome.
She is an experienced yoga teacher and holds a PgDip in Positive Psychology and Coaching from the University of East London and a certificate in Psychodynamic Counselling from Oxford University. She is currently studying to be an integrative psychotherapist at The Minster Centre
Katie McNeil (she/her)
Katie specialises in a diverse range of yoga styles, from Gentle Flow Yoga to Restorative and Yin practices, along with the more energetic movements of Vinyasa and Power Flow yoga. She creates a nurturing space where students can come together as a community to learn, share, and evolve collectively.
She works on fostering a sense of personal agency within each student's yoga journey, assisting them in building a personal toolkit to navigate life's ebbs and flow. A big part of her philosophy is the belief that yoga should be inclusive and accessible to all who wish to engage. She is committed to crafting classes that cater to diverse needs, ensuring that inclusivity remains a guiding principle.
Katie is a seasoned yoga instructor with a diverse training background. Holding an E-RYT 200 certification and YACEP designation, she completed the Yoga Quota/Nourish Yoga Training in 2020, and has accumulated over 300 hours of Continuing Professional Development with various course providers. Notable training includes Teaching Inclusive Yoga, Yoga Trauma & the Nervous System, Professional Development & Mentoring, Yin Yoga, Introduction to Restorative Yoga, and specialised workshops on trauma and healing. Her ongoing pursuit of knowledge is evidenced by her upcoming engagements, such as the Awakening Inversions Intensive and Meditation & Breathwork with Awakening Yoga Academy.
